Huvepharma

Integrated Facility Services has been working with Huvepharma, a multi-level pharmaceutical company, since 2017. Huvepharma’s specialized facilities run on tight time constraints and rely on their mechanical systems to be in top order.

When asked, David, the facilities manager from Huvepharma, had great things to say about working with IFS. David had worked previously with IFS at a different company. When he moved to Huvepharam and they asked who they should bring in on a project, IFS was his top choice.

David said “Besides providing good service, and good projects, I never have to babysit. It’s pharmaceutical, so there’s a lot of training involved to get people in the plant. IFS always tries to get the same people working here, so we don’t have to retrain, and they would have more familiarity with the plants.”

When asked about the capability that IFS provides, he explained that he appreciates that IFS is large enough to have the same level of expertise as the largest area mechanical contractors but with the responsiveness and relationship building as companies much smaller.

“I think IFS is at the right place. They have the resources to do what needs to be done and done right,” commented David.

Challenge

A recent job done for Huveparma was a project involving an air handler. A part had stopped working on one of the units, and the wait was too long for the replacement part.

Solutions

IFS produced the creative solution of a fan wall. The other fans can compensate for the loss if a fan is lost. This was a great way to ensure Huvepharma’s operations wouldn’t be impacted.
